Prior to joining ASBO International, my background was in hospitality. I was the front-of-house manager at Healds Hall Hotel in West Yorkshire, UK. I find that I still use those hospitality skills every day in my work with ASBO. ASBO is a member-owned association, and I passionately believe that a member's experience with ASBO should be as welcoming and valued as that of a guest walking into a hotel or--even better--a friend coming into your home.
I have been at ASBO since September 2001 and I am lucky enough to work with a great team overseeing the membership department and the marketing and communications departments. In December 2012 I was promoted to the assistant executive director position. In this role I also work with the executive directors of our affiliate associations and the general operations of ASBO.
