A myriad of emotions - time for a change?

It’s been an emotional few weeks and there is more change to come. With this in mind I’ve blogged about my recent myriad of emotions and the need to promote diversity in our profession.

Thank you for your comments Claire. The network ABBLed has been up and running for a few months now with the goal of raising the profile of Black, Asian and ethnic minority colleagues in the profession and also encouraging more to join the profession. It's an exciting venture. Happy to chat about it any time.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Cheryl.  I hear you - I have noticed the lack of black and brown leaders in our profession.  I want to help us make a change.  Our black and brown students deserve to see themselves in their educational leaders.  How many times have I said there are not black candidates for the job openings I post?  Too many.  What am I doing about it?  That's the most important question.  How can I change this?
