Mike assumed the role of Executive Director at WASBO (Wisconsin ASBO) effective July 1, 2019 following 32 years as a school business manager in Wisconsin. Immediately prior to leading WASBO, Mike served as Assistant Superintendent/CFO for Madison Metropolitan School District, Wisconsin's second largest district and home to the state capitol and University of Wisconsin. Mike graduated from DePaul University with an accounting degree in 1984 and passed the CPA in May 1984. Mike earned a MA in Business Administration in 1988 from the University of Wisconsin.
When not working, Mike enjoys travel, sporting events, biking, and reading. He lives in Oconomowoc with his spouse, Karen (a reading specialist) and two children, both of whom are away at college and left without cleaning their bedrooms.
