I am a tried and true extrovert and I have a passion for helping people. Being a part of the ASBO International team aligns with my overall pursuit in life; to make a positive impact on the world and lift others up to do the same.
I've had the privilege of executing this philosophy in life through many different channels. First as proud military spouse, helping and mentoring young spouses find their voice while still supporting their active duty spouse. Second as an entrepreneur, helping new parents learn the importance of sleep for their child. Finally, as a professional in the non profit sector. I have volunteered and worked for non profits since I was in middle school, advocating for and on behalf of my peers for safer schools, bringing awareness for their overall health and well-being to supporting low-income families receive subsidies for their utilities bills as well as advocating for senior citizens who live in long term care communities.
I recently moved to Virginia from North Carolina by way of Kansas by way of Washington state. In my spare time I hangout with my husband, Joe, and Irish twins, Harper and Hudson as well as our two Siberian huskies, Artica and Gunner. We love to explore and learn about our new cities we live in, go on date nights, barbeque with our friends and home improvement projects.
