Forget Winter, GASB 68 is Coming!

As follow up to the informative blog post from Shirley Broz on the GASB 68 rules, we wanted to share this press release from the Governmental Accounting Standards Board that basically says, "We hear you that this might not work very well in all cases, but we are going to give it a try anyway."

So the requirements of GASB 68 are effective for periods beginning after June 15, 2014.
