This morning, the U.S. Department of Education released first year progress reports for the 12 states that attained Race to the Top (RTT) funding in 2010—Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Tennessee. These state-specific reports examine both accomplishments made and challenges experienced as states began to take action on their comprehensive education reform plans.
