We are excited to announce that ASBO International has been invited to attend the first-ever White House Summit for Sustainable and Healthy K-12 School Buildings and Grounds, hosted in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Energy, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Friday, April 26.
ASBO members and other K-12 stakeholders are invited to tune in to the live stream, which will include an opening plenary and panels from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET.
As part of the Biden-Harris Administration's commitment to equitable access to energy-efficient, climate-resilient, and healthy school facilities that are conducive to learning, they are hosting this Summit to highlight school projects from across the country. The event will share information about how to use unprecedented levels of federal funding for school infrastructure, clean energy, and healthy school practices to enhance school buildings and grounds and achieve climate, health, and academic outcomes.
