Joseph Dragone is currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Business in Roslyn Public Schools. He assumed this position in 2006 and has now served for more than 46 years as a teacher and administrator in public schools. He has served as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University, C.W. Post, and Queens College, as an officer of state and local professional associations including NYSASPA and NYSASBO, and as a representative to the Long Island Educational Coalition. He has been active in his community including serving as the president of the local library board and founding member of educational foundations in Rockville Centre, Harborfields, and Northport. He lives in Northport with his wife Liz (who has served as a school board member in Northport) and four children, the oldest two of whom have started their own careers in public education while a third has finished graduate school and is working in the admissions office at Hofstra University and a fourth is a senior at Boston College.
