Bob Bayles, PhD ABD, MBA, MEd, FCPHR, SHRM-CP, is an accomplished executive, leadership consultant, and founding partner of the Research HUB for Professional Learning and Innovation (Research Hub). With senior leadership experience spanning education, human resources, finance, governance, and organizational transformation, Bob is recognized for helping organizations navigate complexity while building strong, people-centered cultures. As a Maxwell Leadership-certified Executive Coach, Speaker, and Trainer, he works with leaders and organizations to strengthen strategic thinking, leadership effectiveness, succession planning, and organizational performance.
Bob currently serves in executive leadership within one of Saskatchewan’s largest rural school divisions, overseeing finance, human resources, operations, transportation, and facilities management for an organization serving 12,000 students across 44 schools. His portfolio includes strategic oversight of a $150M budget, HR leadership for more than 1,300 employees and hundreds of substitute and casual staff, and operational leadership supporting large-scale educational infrastructure and transportation systems.
A passionate advocate for research-informed leadership and professional growth, Bob co-founded the Research Hub to advance innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based practice across sectors. Through the HUB, he supports organizations in leadership development, applied research, strategic planning, and workforce transformation initiatives.
In addition to his consulting and executive leadership work, Bob teaches graduate and executive-level courses in Strategic Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Educational Finance at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Alberta. His national leadership includes serving on the Board of Directors for CPHR Canada and as Past President of CPHR Saskatchewan.
