Prior to joining ASBO International, my background was in hospitality. I was the front-of-house manager at Healds Hall Hotel in West Yorkshire, UK. I find that I still use those hospitality skills every day in my work with ASBO. ASBO is a member-owned association, and I passionately believe that a member's experience with ASBO should be as welcoming and valued as that of a guest walking into a hotel or—even better—a friend coming into your home.

I have been at ASBO International since September 2001. I am so fortunate to work with such a great team. In January of 2024 I became the Deputy Executive Director/COO. In this role, I support the Executive Director in the general operations of ASBO.  I also work with the executive directors of our affiliate associations and sister-education associations. I’m a life-long learner and passionate about what our members do every day for the schools and communities they serve. I am a Certified Association Executive (CAE) accredited by ASAE and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). 

As a recent empty nester, I enjoy spending time with my husband, catching up with our two daughters, and playing with our four dogs. I video chat daily with my parents and brothers overseas, and most mornings, you’ll find me at the gym by 6 a.m.!
