In addition to providing financial services to several of the 29 school districts supported by the North Central ESD. I am now leading the internal accounting team at NCESD. This team provides contracted financial support services including board reporting, financial forecasting, payroll, grants management, accounts payable management internal controls development, general ledger management and cash management.
Previously in my role as the Director of Accounting at Cascade Medical I supervised the Financial Reporting, Payroll, AP Processing, Material Management & Cost Reporting. Cascade Medical is a small 12 bed Critical Access Hospital with a Rural Health Clinic. I successfully lead the financial implementation of a new accounting software for the hospital. This implementation include the GL, AP, PR, MM, and Cash Management System. I also lead the implementation of a new Time and Attendance module during my tenure. I was an integral member of the implementation team. Cascade Medical is also a Local Governmental Agency, which is subject to WA State WAC's and RCW's. I am the Financial & Accountability Audit Liaison. In addition I am the Compliance Officer for the hospital. I also have several years in governmental auditing experience, including Financial Statement audits in accordance with GASB, Internal Controls, OMB Circular A-133, and Accountability audits.
