The Partnership to Protect Workplace Opportunity (PPWO) Coalition, which ASBO International is a member of, has worked with Congress to introduce two companion House/Senate bills that would require the Dept. of Labor (DOL) to perform a deeper analysis on the impact of its proposed overtime regulations on small businesses, nonprofits, regional economies, local governments, Medicare and Medicaid dependent health care providers, and academic institutions, as well as employee flexibility and career advancement before proceeding with a rule.
