This presentation focuses on various agencies' guidance that is impacting K-12 education from the Office for Civil Rights (OCR), Department of Justice (DOJ), Privacy Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), and Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS). It addresses guidance that has been issued regarding equitable education access, English Language Learners (ELLs), Title IX coordinators, student data protection, and due process procedures after parents file state complaints.
