Continuing Education Credits

The 2023 Annual Conference & Expo is accredited for SFO, CPE, and CAE continuing education credits. To receive credits, you MUST meet the attendance criteria listed below AND complete the evaluation for each session attended. 
 

ATTENDANCE

  • Attendance and time requirements will be tracked via scanning your badge as you enter and exit a session. 

  • Attendees MUST scan INTO each session when it begins and OUT of each session when it ends. 

  • Attendees MUST be present for a minimum of 50 minutes. (ASBO staff will complete a time audit based on scan reports to confirm you were present for the required time.) 

  • If you attended the entire session but forgot to scan in or out, you MUST contact asboeducation@asbointl.org for assistance immediately. You will not be given access to credit evaluations if you do not meet the time requirement. 

EVALUATION  

  • Session evaluations will be accessed through ASBO Learn. 
  • To be enrolled in a session evaluation, you MUST have met the time requirement described above.  
  • To be awarded continuing education credits and a certificate of completion, you MUST first meet the time requirement described above and then complete the session evaluation. 
  • Evaluations must be completed within 45 days, beginning on the day the session took place.  

EVALUATION INSTRUCTIONS

Evaluations can be accessed within ASBO Learn as follows:  

  • At the end of each day, attendees will receive an email for each session they attended where the time requirement was met. This email will provide a link to the session evaluation in ASBO Learn.  

  • To access the session evaluation, simply click the link within the email and complete the series of questions. 

  • Upon completion of the evaluation, the evaluation course will move to the completed tab, where you can access the certificate. You will also be issued credits in your ASBO International transcript. 

  • You must complete a session evaluation for each session you attended. 

  • Evaluations must be completed within 45 days of receiving access to the evaluation. 

  • If you do not receive an email granting access to a session where you met the time requirement as described above, please contact asboeducation@asbointl.org for assistance.

SFO Recertification Contact Hours 

This event is accredited for a maximum of 15 SFO credits.   

To receive SFO credits, learners must be present for a minimum of 50 minutes per credit hour and complete the evaluation for each session they attend. To meet this time requirement, learners must scan in and out of the session. 

CPE Credit 

This event is accredited for a maximum of 15 CPE credits.

To receive CPE credits, learners must be present for a minimum of 50 minutes per credit hour and complete the evaluation for each session they attend. To meet this time requirement, learners must scan in and out of the session.

CAE Credit 

As a CAE Registered Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 12 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.  

To receive CAE credits, learners must be present for the entire session and complete the evaluation for each session they attend. To meet this time requirement, learners must scan in and out of the session.
