Safety

Effective October 24, 2022, ASBO International will not require proof of vaccination status or a negative PCR test result to attend an ASBO International conference. Mask-wearing is encouraged but will be optional.

ASBO International expects attendees to take personal responsibility for following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on measures to reduce infection from COVID-19 and to protect against severe complications.

For more information, please review the CDC guidelines at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html

Attendees who are not up to date on vaccinations are asked to take an at-home COVID-19 rapid antigen test before traveling to any ASBO International conference and should not attend if they test positive or have symptoms of COVID-19. ASBO International will not be requiring proof of these measures; however, attendees are encouraged to act responsibly and with consideration for the health and safety of others.

ASBO International cannot be held liable for COVID-19 cases arising because of event attendance and will continue to require all attendees to sign an acknowledgment waiver when registering for any ASBO International conference.

In keeping with ASBO International’s commitment to providing a safe experience for attendees at the 2023 Leadership Forum in San Antonio, Texas, we will continue to monitor the recommendations of federal and local officials regarding safety guidelines and best practices for addressing risks presented by COVID-19.

Because this guidance is based on current conditions and recommendations regarding COVID-19, local conditions and/or governmental regulation and guidance may change prior to or during the conference. All attendees are encouraged to visit this page regularly for the latest information and updates regarding attendance and event health and safety requirements. Attendees are also encouraged to check the local COVID status for San Antonio prior to traveling to the conference.

Acknowledgment

Through the registration process, all registrants, guests, presenters, and exhibitors will be required to complete an event acknowledgment, indicating that they have read and accepted the safety protocols and other terms outlined and will comply. Instructions on how to sign the Waiver will be provided in your registration confirmation.
